Water being the most valuable and at the same time one of the scarce natural resources, there is a tremendous need for harvesting available Rain water. Rainwater is an economical, safe and sustainable source of quality water when it is captured and stored in a correct manner.
With the concept of “catch water where it falls”, FSL-India networks with local organisations that are working for conservation and promotion of water resources through multiple approaches.
Generating awareness among various sections of the local communities is an important dimension of FSL-India's programs. Volunteers can contributes to these initiatives through various creative input and participation in campaigns for promoting water literacy, documentation and research undertakings.
